Led by Katie Douglas, Stephanie White, and Ukari Figgs, the 1999 Purdue women's basketball team had an amazing season! They went undefeated in the Big Ten (16-0) and entered the NCAA tournament as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. Coach Carolyn Peck and the Boilermakers triumphed over the Blue Devils 62-45 in the championship, bringing home their first national title - the first NCAA championship won by a women's team from the Big Ten.
